This game was so visually impressive and interesting that at times I got lost in the art. The story is also a refreshing spin on the fairy tale and would love to see whether this could be expanded on. Only issue I have is that there is a lot of side scrolling / running with little to no pay off.
I loved everything about this game. From the art style to the story that gave me the chills. I hope to see more games like this in the future as I really enjoyed this one!!!

I absolutely loved playing this game! I really like the concept and the style of the game! Sadly at the end the game must've bugged out or something, because after I messed up the potion and died I couldn't go back into the cave again or perform the ritual. None the less, fantastic game!!
Thanks for the kind words. Try downloading the updated version. That should fix the problem where you can't go into the cave again after mixing the potion wrong.
The directional sound for the wolf took a while to get the intricacies right. Nice to know people appreciated it. Thanks for making a video of our game.
I really liked it but found a bug. If you were to mess the potion up, you'll die, get kicked back to where you mix the potion. However, you'll have the wolf's hair in your inventory and the potion. After I mixed the mistake, I went back to the Wolf's den but nothing happened. I couldn't even get inside the cave. Just thought you guys should know. Great game though and I wish you all the best :)
happened to me too. i still have wolf hair, and i got the potion right this time **i think** but im not able to put it in the bowl, hugeee disappointment that i have to start over

This game was great even though I derped and it took me awhile to get through. I really loved the artstyle , especially the cat's design and the way the forest was done. The only issue I had was it felt like the wolf took forever to show up after the initial howl when I was trying to hide. I think this was more of a me being impatient problem and not something with the game itself. Overall, awesome work and can't wait to see more games from your team.
Okay, I have tried uploading the mac version several different ways, and several different times. Nothing seems to work. When I play the file on my computer, everything works like a charm. When I upload to itch.io then download it, it always tells me that the file is corrupted. I think this is a problem with itch, and I will be contacting their support team. Thanks for bringing this to my attention
This was a very well put together game! The art style is very cool, and the story unfolds in a believable way. I love the little twist at the end as well! I only managed to get 1 ending, but I really enjoyed playing this!
The very first think that pops to mind is the music. I really liked the music choices and I found myself writing down several tallies for music. The art is what made me click on this game and I'm so glad I downloaded it and tried it out. This art style is very interesting I would really like to see more of this rather it be more "fairy tales" of just these fantastically beasts (Bottom Face Toads lol...). This story was nice and refreshing and I didn't have to try very hard to get into it. And I really like Ascat ( that was the point but whatever you got me lol). The tittle screen and ending screens are very nice as well, and satisfying for what ending you got. Ok I said a lot of good so here is a little bad (The bad isn't all that bad in this case since it's first game jam and because of the basic primis but anyway). How basic this game is. Now hold on that's not entirely a bad thing especailly since this more so story driven, but the with some off these other cons they kinda work against each other. I'm not a big fan of back tracking unless something changes along the way so it kinda feels like filler that makes also how long some of the transition scenes (the ones where the wolf can come) feel longer. And lastly the puzzles I think that adding something like this to your games is a really good idea and it helps break up the monotony of "run here get idea" repeat. I just think the average time to beat needs to be a little shorter (or maybe I'm dumb lol). You spend a little to much time away form the story. This game is great, I actually sat down and took notes on this. Would recommend...

I really loved this! Nowadays there's really not much horror side scroller games so I'm really grateful for this. One thing to note though, I couldn't really get to the potion scene. After failing on first try, I was just stuck with no cutscenes when I restarted since I already have the wolf's hair. Not sure if this is a bug or just me but if it's a bug hopefully u can fix it!
I think several players are having this problem. We'll fix it. I think you can still walk into the cave and cut the wolf's hair. Then walk out again to activate the cutscene. Let me know if that doesn't work. Thanks for playing.
Loved the artwork first and foremost. Demonstrating the evilness through that wolf really had my thoughts flowing on how many others the wolf had truly consumed.

Okay, I have tried uploading the mac version several different ways, and several different times. Nothing seems to work. When I play the file on my computer, everything works like a charm. It's like little red riding hood finds out the truth... and not the truth she wanted. And we learn all cats are good sometimes XD
